About Ikaika

I’m Ikaika Kua-Nachor, and I’m from the beautiful island of Hawaii. Growing up in Hawaii, my upbringing was not an entirely healthy environment. We attended church occasionally, but I never truly understood who Jesus was or what it meant to follow Him. After graduating high school, my life was filled with going out almost every night, partying with friends, drinking and smoking – the typical shenanigans of a young adult with his first taste of freedom. I often found myself hanging with the wrong crowd, caught up in a lifestyle that didn’t offer real purpose and fulfillment.

My turning point came when I discovered a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) campus in Kona HI. It was there that I met a group of peers who were genuinely passionate about their faith. Little did I know, my future wife was among them. The sense of community and the example they set had a major impact on me, leading me to give my life to Jesus. Inspired by this newfound faith, I decided to sign up for a DTS (Discipleship Training School) with YWAM in Washington DC, marking the start of a new chapter in my life.

After completing my 6 month DTS in Washington DC, I proposed to my wife, and we got married in 2014. Over the years, we’ve been blessed with three amazing children. We now reside in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. My life is now dedicated to pursuing Jesus and becoming more like Him every day. I serve on the worship team at our local church where I find great joy in leading others in worship and growing deeper in my faith. Living out our beliefs has brought us closer as a family and filled our lives with the purpose and fulfillment that I’ve been searching for my entire life.

Like many others, I still face challenges, but my faith gives me the courage to persevere. I’ve learned that no matter how big the challenge, when I set aside my pride and keep my eyes on Christ, the storm shall pass. Trusting in His guidance and strength allows me to navigate life’s difficulties with a sense of peace and hope. It’s not always easy, but I’ve seen time and again that God’s love and grace are enough to carry me through, reminding me that I’m never alone on this journey.

Biography

What started out as a passion project to increase his knowledge and understanding about coaching, quickly evolved online personal training and nutrition coaching. With over a decade in the fitness industry, Ikaika’s journey began in 2010, practicing various disciplines of fitness. He spent 10 years running operations at a gym facility as head coach, personal trainer, and operations manager, where he helped people move better, get stronger, and achieve their goals. During this time, he led group and 1-on-1 sessions, refining his expertise in personalized fitness coaching.

Throughout his coaching career, Ikaika pursued various credentials, including nutrition coaching and movement seminars, to deepen his ability to help clients meet their health and fitness goals and to enhance his comprehensive approach to health and wellness.

Ikaika is driven by helping others gain a better understanding of what nutrition means while taking back their lives through a happy and healthy lifestyle. In a world where fad diets and workout plans come and go, Ikaika works with each client to implement individual plans and tasks that produce long-term results.
